In fact, there’s been so much activity over on the platform that you’d be forgiven if one or two improvements slipped under your radar! That’s why we’re pulling back the curtain on four hand-picked feature improvements from the past twelve months, with a focus on:

1) AI Feedback 

Immersify has always been about preparing learners to tackle new challenges, using a variety of simulations and interactive resources to ensure the next lecture, rotation, or exam is supported in ways that only immersive learning can achieve. And, with the release of Smart Feedback, that preparation is now more personalized than ever. 

Across a range of simulations, learners are now presented with AI-powered evaluation that breaks down the answers they select at each decision point, reinforcing correct answers and identifying areas for further study.  

The result? A richer, more tailored experience that gives learners the opportunity to refine, enhance, and deepen their understanding of a topic before they even set foot in a classroom. 

2) Custom Avatars 

With Immersify, personalization doesn’t end with feedback. In fact, 2025 saw the introduction of a significantly expanded customizable avatar feature that allows users to represent themselves with a dizzying array of apparel, skin tones, hairstyles, and so on.

3) Simulation Studio 

The subject of desktop compatibility brings us to a third and particularly exciting feature update: Immersify’s new and improved Simulation Studio. 

This is a behind-the-scenes glimpse of how Immersify creates its interactive learning activities. Through the upgraded Simulation Studio, our team of educators, clinicians, and asset creators are able to produce simulations at a much-accelerated pace.  

Alongside expanded desktop access to simulations and the ability to produce more content at scale, learners will also notice an upgraded user interface being introduced across our sims, all the better to complement a suite of user experience improvements introduced across 2025.  

These include the ability to move effortlessly from one activity to the next, with topic selection informed by handy topic- and module-level progress bars that have been introduced to the Explore page.

4) Analytics Portal  

While the reworked Sim Studio is a peek behind the curtain, one of Immersify’s biggest feature updates of 2025 will be front and center for educators moving forward.  

The new Analytics Portal is a fantastic way for educators to gain instant, always-available insight into their students’ learning and progress. At the click of a button, educators can access details including time spent on different activities, completion rates by topic, and cohort-wide information on score averages and improvements across a range of activities.
